Last Friday, I started writing up a new Simple Grammar Post especially for Kris Noble. Unfortunately it took much longer to write than I expected. I only got halfway through it on Friday, and haven’t had the time to pick it up since then. I’m not sure if I’ll finish it or if I’ll have to start it over again, as I’ve since lost my train of thought, but we’ll see how that turns out. I’ve got a few more ideas for Simple Grammar Lessons up my sleeve too, with some tricks to remember things.
Either way, it’s nearly Christmas! I’m excited. Are you excited? Well you should be excited because it’s nearly CHRISTMAS! Okay, I’m only excited because I’m going home tomorrow and I get to see my parents and my dogs and I suppose all my siblings too, which will be nice. And it’s also some time off work, which I’m very much looking forward to.
Not only that, it’s time off from travelling too. The weekends are great, but commuting to and from the boy’s house each weekend is taking it out of me. I just want to spend a weekend relaxing, not worrying about getting to a train station on time, and lounging around drinking some good coffee. I really want some good coffee.
Speaking of coffee, I actually have some at home that a friend sent me from the US last Christmas, but I haven’t had it yet. I think I’ll take it home. It’s chocolate cake flavoured coffee, or something! Sounds pretty cool.
In the meantime, I need to reorganise HJ again, I think. The design is mostly here to stay but the content needs finishing. I want to play around with WordPress more and use the pages and widgets/plugins to achieve my desired look, rather than trying to code it all myself. I’m perfectly capable of doing it, I am just too idle to do it in my free time, when I want to be relaxing and not thinking about coding even more. So if I can get a placeholder portfolio up, then I will.
But anyway: as probably my last entry before Christmas, Merry Christmas everyone! Have a good one! :) *raises a glass*
